Patient Services

New Patients

We really “roll out the red carpet” for our new patients. We know there are some of you out there who really hate going to the dentist but know you need to go. Sherri, our Patient Care Coordinator, will sit down with you and discuss all of your wants, needs, fears, misconceptions, bad experiences and so forth. She will listen to you and then use every means available - X-rays, digital photos, drawings, books, etc. - to answer your questions and explain the whys and hows of various treatments and procedures. Sherri will not stop until you have a complete understanding of your oral health and the steps necessary to achieve and maintain it. Sherri then gives this “complete and individual profile” to Dr. Lee so that when he shakes your hand to say “hello” he already knows your entire oral history - past, present, and future.

After all, before we can treat the teeth, we need to know the person they belong to.

Preventive Care Services

Everything we cherish takes some care and feeding. Your teeth need the same type of regular maintenance as your car, your garden, and your marriage. It is far healthier (and cheaper) to maintain your teeth and prevent the causes of tooth loss than it is to neglect your teeth and have to undergo costly, cumbersome and painful repairs down the road. So treat your teeth like a cherished family heirloom and you should be able to hang onto them for a good, long time.

Barring an accident like getting smacked in the kisser with a foreign object, there are only three ways to lose your teeth:

The good news is that all three can be treated or prevented.

We offer the following services to help you keep those “pearly whites” looking good and feeling fine:

  • Regular Cleanings/Checkups (we include a thorough examination of each and every tooth!)
  • Dental Sealants
  • Patient Education (the more you know, the better you’ll feel!)
  • Nightguards
  • Mouthguards

Restorative Services

Behind every smile is a life or death function. Teeth are the first stage of digestion. Without teeth, your stomach struggles to break down and process what you eat in order to provide vitamins and nutrients to your body.

But teeth are different than skin or bones or other parts of the body in that they do not heal on their own. Although much technical and medical progress has been made in the area of dentistry, there are simply some teeth that cannot be fixed and saved. Thankfully, in most cases, teeth can be repaired and/or restored.

Completed fillings, crowns, and bridges should feel good, look good, and “clean good.” We stand firmly behind the quality of our work and use only the finest labs and the best materials available today.

We offer the following services to get your “pearly whites” back in action:

Cosmetic Services

First impressions leave powerful, lingering images. People with beautiful, becoming smiles make memorable entrances. But you don’t have to be born with a great smile. Today, there are a variety of ways to treat yourself to that beautiful smile you’ve always wanted.

Dr. Lee and his team view cosmetic dentistry as a very exacting science. For example, we will not pursue aesthetics at the expense of a healthy mouth and harmonious bite. In other words, it doesn’t make sense to do cosmetic improvements in a mouth that has decay, gum disease, or bite problems.

Dr. Lee has fused art and science to create many beautiful smiles over the years. In addition to work that’s comfortable and durable, Dr. Lee takes great pride in creating smiles that look natural. In fact, we invite you to take an interesting quiz. You may be surprised at how you do!

We offer the following cosmetic services:

Be sure to visit our Gallery of Smiles to see some amazing “Before and After” photos with explanations of various cosmetic procedures.

Patient Comfort and Technology

We understand that there are people who really hate going to the dentist. Some have had unnecessarily painful dental work done. Our first priority is always to listen to our patients. We discuss treatments with you ahead of time so you are fully aware of what’s going on. We can sedate you if you prefer, or offer nitrous oxide (both of these are provided at no cost to you). But, anywhere along the way, if you say “it hurts,” we stop. We want you to be comfortable and we’ll do anything and everything to see that you are.

Here are some of the ways in which we use technology to enhance your comfort and our efficiency:

  • Digital Radiography (digital x-rays are faster and easier to keep on file)
  • Intra Oral Camera (we can show you what’s going on in your mouth in “real time”)
  • Chairside computers (you can relax while we view your entire oral history)
  • Patient Education (the more you know, the better you’ll feel)
  • Sedation Dentistry (oral sedation)
  • Nitrous Oxide in every room
  • Patient Comfort Measures (earphones with relaxing music, blankets/foot warmers)
  • Sterilization Center (ours is State of the Art)
